LHH is currently looking for a Lead Desktop Support professional to take on leadership-oriented tasks while remaining technically hands-on in a Windows and Azure environment.
***Fully on-site M-F (8-3:30PM) in Dallas, TX***
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee IT support operations for a 200+ user environment, managing day-to-day technical issues and ensuring high performance of desktop systems, network infrastructure, and servers.
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 environments, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Manage and enhance endpoint security and update management, leveraging tools like KACE and Intune for system imaging, patching, and device management.
- Provide hands-on support for desktop and laptop systems, mobile devices, and peripherals, as well as troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Support IT infrastructure projects and drive continuous improvements in operational standards.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain ticketing systems, knowledge management tools, and asset databases.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience in IT support roles
- Proficiency in managing Windows-based environments, including Azure AD and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with macOS and iOS device support.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools, patching, and security best practices.
Education:
- Associate's Degree is required, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications Preferred: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
